My Background
I have been a fan of cars as far back as I can remember. My Dad was a car guy and the first car I remember him having was his 76 Cutlass 'Edge' - a Y76 regional model he bought new in Montana. I've been a car nut ever since. Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars from the time I was born, building models, going to car shows, cruising dealerships, reading, eventually to owning and enjoying on my own. Now I have passed all of that on to my son.
My Car
Once I was old enough to drive, my first car was a 1976 Cutlass 442. I purchased from the original owner, a Sheriff, and it was a local car.
Other Cars of Interest
Along with the 76-77 Cutlasses and 442's, I also enjoy all 'muscle cars'. I am a GM guy, but can appreciate all makes. I really like the GM SuperCars - Yenko, Nickey, Dick Harrell, Baldwin-Motion and the factory COPO cars. I am also a huge Corvette fan. I used to buy every book I could to read and study so I knew all about them.
